This docking activity has cumulatively promoted the landing of 52 industrial transfer cooperation projects, with a total amount of 46.1 billion yuan, involving multiple fields such as high-end CNC machine tools, aerospace equipment, new energy equipment, etc., showing the characteristics of many chain extension and supplementation projects, many strategic emerging industry projects, and many major advantageous industry projects.

17.3% of Chongqing's total industrial output value

Chongqing has a solid foundation in intelligent equipment and intelligent manufacturing industry, with 1225 enterprises above designated size. In Jiangjin, Yongchuan, Jiulongpo, Liangjiang New Area and other places, a large number of well-known enterprises such as Sany Heavy Industry, Haizhuang Wind Power, Hitachi Energy, and CCID Equipment have gathered. "At the docking event, Tu Xingyong, Deputy Director of the Municipal Economic Information Commission, introduced that in the first three quarters of 2023, Chongqing's equipment manufacturing industry (excluding automobiles) achieved an output value of 332.98 billion yuan, an increase of 5.1%, accounting for 17.3% of the city's total industrial output value.

Among them, in the field of rail transit equipment industry, Chongqing has formed an industrial system including vehicle body manufacturing, traction power, braking systems, bogies, and vehicle connections. It is the first city in China to build a cross seat monorail transit system, with more than 80 enterprises above designated size and the ability to manufacture 800 rail transit vehicles annually.

In the field of agricultural machinery and equipment industry, Chongqing is known as the "Capital of Micro Plowing Machines in China", with an annual output of about 2 million sets of micro tillage machines, accounting for about two-thirds of the total production of micro tillage machines in China. Nearly 50% of them are sold to overseas markets such as Eastern Europe, Central Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America.

In the field of communication equipment industry, Chongqing is an important communication production base in China, with a total of 5 local leading enterprises, 3 foreign-funded enterprises, and more than 400 component supporting enterprises. The annual production and sales volume exceeds 14 million units, accounting for half of the country's total.

Tu Xingyong stated that in recent years, Chongqing's intelligent equipment and intelligent manufacturing industry has gradually formed three significant advantages: the rapid development of intelligent manufacturing has created a total of 14 intelligent factories and 116 digital workshops; The innovation capability continues to enhance, with 13 listed companies in the equipment field and 235 "specialized, refined, and new" enterprises in the city. Among them, Chongqing Machine Tool's independently developed YE3140 CNC hobbing machine fills the gap of seven axis CNC and four axis linkage CNC machine tools in China. Zongshen Hangfa's first C145 piston type aerospace engine has the highest market share in the country among similar products; The industrial agglomeration effect is prominent, and a total of 8 city level characteristic industrial bases have been cultivated. The equipment manufacturing industry belt along the Chongqing Kunming Expressway has been preliminarily formed.

Multiple industries are well prepared to undertake the project

At the docking event, districts and counties such as Jiulongpo, Banan, Jiangjin, Yongchuan, Dazu, and Wulong, based on regional advantages and industrial demand, extended an "olive branch" to merchants across the country.

For example, Banan hopes to introduce leading enterprises in the aerospace industry, as well as projects such as satellite communication and aerospace equipment, to build a core industry chain in the aerospace industry; Introduce vehicle grade chips, automotive software, large and small "three electric systems", as well as projects such as charging and swapping, hydrogen refueling, and vehicle road coordination in the intelligent connected new energy vehicle industry, and build a modern automotive industry system; Introduce new energy motorcycles, high displacement cruising cars, racing cars, off-road vehicles and other mid to high end motorcycle projects in the high displacement motorcycle industry, and improve the local supporting system; Introduce complete machines, core components, and mid to high end system projects from industries such as smart agricultural machinery, smart homes, and power systems in the high-end equipment manufacturing industry, and promote the development of complete equipment towards the mid to high end.
